Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The role involves providing individualized support, either focusing on health and safety supervision and hands-On assistance with activities of daily living (Personal attendant track) or focusing on functional skills development, community engagement, and vocational exploration (Skills instructor track). Both tracks require accurate documentation and participation in meetings to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Candidates need 0-3 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and must be able to maintain professional relationships, follow instructions, and adhere to high ethical standards. Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, maintaining tb clearance, and possessing a valid california driver's license if transportation is required.
