Core responsibilities
The therapist will provide individual, group, milieu, and family treatment, including potential home-Based family treatment, while frequently collaborating with parents, psychiatrists, teachers, and other therapists. Essential duties also include providing case management services, interacting with agencies like dcfs, and offering 24-Hour availability for crisis intervention to assigned clients.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, marriage & family therapy, or social work, and must be licensed, licensed eligible, or registered as an intern with the bbs. A minimum of two years of clinical experience with children (Ages 2-5 or 5-12 depending on the program) and one year working with multi-Issue families is required.
