Behavior Specialist

The behavior specialist develops and implements individualized behavior support plans by conducting functional behavioral assessments (Fbas) and creating behavior support plans (Bsps) using evidence-Based interventions. This role also involves providing training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management best practices while ensuring accurate documentation.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, special education, or applied behavior analysis, and demonstrate excellent communication skills. Prior experience in applied behavior analysis, working with medically/Behaviorally acute individuals, or with dual diagnosis populations is preferred.
