Head Start Teacher

The teacher will partner with families to establish child-Focused goals tailored to individual needs while planning, implementing, and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for preschoolers. Responsibilities also include building positive relationships with children and families and helping coordinate the daily operations within the classroom.

Candidates should ideally possess a child development associate (Cda) or an associate’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent coursework, along with prior experience working with children in a center-Based setting, preferably with families. Applicants must also be immunized against mmr and tdap, and successfully pass required background checks including dhhs and fingerprinting.
