Head Start Lead Teacher

The lead teacher will be responsible for partnering with families to establish child-Focused goals tailored to individual needs and planning, implementing, and documenting a comprehensive child development program suitable for preschoolers. This role also involves coordinating the daily operations of the classroom while supervising one or more staff members.

Candidates must possess an associate’s degree in early childhood, with a bachelor’s degree being preferred, and have experience working with children in a center-Based setting; prior experience supervising others is preferred. Applicants must also be immunized against mmr and tdap, and successfully pass a background check including dhhs and fingerprinting.
