RN, Forensic Nurse Examiner

The registered nurse functions collaboratively with the care team staff to assess and implement educational needs for the department, providing resources to staff, patients, families, and the community. The nurse will also deliver direct patient care as a forensic nurse examiner, consistently performing daily clinical duties according to established policy.

A bachelor of science in nursing (Bsn) is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in the intensive care unit (Icu) and/Or emergency department (Ed). Candidates must possess a current texas nursing license and must complete pediatric sexual assault nurse examiner (Sane) certification within one year of hire.
