Instructional Aide

The instructional aide will provide personalized support, supervision, and guidance to middle and high school students in a special education program, collaborating with educators to implement individualized education programs (Ieps). Key duties involve implementing individualized instruction, monitoring student progress, managing behavior, and assisting students in developing essential life skills.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent with passage of a basic skills test, and prior experience supporting children, preferably in special education or behavioral health settings, is highly valued. Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or higher and relevant paraprofessional licensing.
