Assistant Preschool Teacher

The assistant preschool teacher will collaborate with the preschool teacher to manage a head start classroom for 3-5 year olds, maintaining a child-Centered curriculum that promotes development across all domains. Responsibilities include addressing challenging behaviors through observation and intervention, and documenting children's progress to individualize learning.

Candidates must possess great communication and writing skills, along with a passion for working with children. Minimum educational requirements include cda credentials, or the willingness to obtain one within two years, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in any field, or current enrollment in such a program.
