EC Teacher Assistant - Client Specific @ Springfield Elementary

The employee supports students with health, behavioral, or instructional needs to achieve individual education plan (Iep) goals and succeed in the general curriculum, performing duties specific to client needs like physical care, movement assistance, and monitoring. Specific roles may involve intensive behavior intervention, assisting with physical needs, riding buses, accompanying students, and maintaining detailed data collection on student progress and intervention fidelity.

A high school diploma is required, along with a minimum of 48 semester hours or an associate’s degree to meet highly qualified designation under nclb, and a willingness to obtain a commercial driver's license (Cdl) if required by the specific assignment. Candidates must possess strong work ethic, excellent communication, computer skills, and the physical ability to lift and support students, consistent with medium/Heavy work requirements.
