Camp counselor

The camp counselor is responsible for executing high-Quality educational and recreational experiences aligned with ymca core values, focusing on the general safety, development, and skill achievement of participants. This includes implementing the weekly schedule, enforcing safety measures, maintaining positive relations, and ensuring the site remains clean and organized.

Candidates must never have been convicted of child abuse and should possess experience or education in child development, education, communication, or recreational programs. Required certifications include cpr, first aid, and aed, which must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
