Direct Care Worker - PIVOT (4307)

This role involves working directly with youth, requiring the ability to form positive, nurturing relationships while adhering to the sanctuary model and trauma informed care principles. Responsibilities include understanding and responding to youth's basic developmental needs, planning appropriate activities, and serving as a positive role model.

A minimum high school diploma or equivalency is required, though some higher education is preferred, along with experience working with juvenile justice involved youth being highly desirable. Candidates must possess sufficient maturity, adhere to agency policies, follow mandated reporting, and hold a valid new york state driver's license.
