Core responsibilities
The preschool teacher is responsible for coordinating and implementing the educational program outlined in each child's individualized education program (Iep) and functioning as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary team. Key duties also include effectively overseeing teacher aides and compiling all necessary reports and statistics required by various agencies.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be pursuing or possess nys teacher certification, specifically in special education (Initial/Professional), and must hold a valid nys driver's license. Experience working in an early childhood or special education setting is preferred.
