Summer Assistant Teachers (Part and Full Time)

Assistant teachers are responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment while engaging with children in meaningful play and activities. They must also support each child’s social and emotional development, respect diversity, establish positive family relations, and work collaboratively with the lead teacher and faculty.

Candidates must meet illinois qualifications and possess the ability to support the 'learning through play' philosophy, interact closely with children, communicate professionally, and comply with childcare regulations. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, including lifting infants in and out of cribs for infant/Toddler roles.
