Lead Twos Teacher

Lead teachers are responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment while supporting each child’s social and emotional development through positive guidance. Responsibilities also include planning and implementing developmental activities, respecting diversity, establishing positive family relations, maintaining child portfolios, and utilizing assessment tools.

Candidates must meet illinois qualifications and possess the ability to support the 'learning through play' philosophy, interact effectively with children, communicate professionally, and comply with all childcare laws, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Educational requirements include a cda or some college credits with a commitment to complete early childhood education courses within a year, or two years of experience in a licensed center, or a bachelor's degree in an early childhood field.
