Day Care Teacher

The teacher assists the lead teacher in creating a developmentally appropriate, nurturing, and safe environment for children's physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. Responsibilities include providing a loving environment, participating enthusiastically in activities, carrying out positive discipline, maintaining a stimulating room arrangement, and preparing weekly lesson plans.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old and meet specific education/Experience criteria, such as completing three credits in child growth with nine months of experience, holding a cda credential, or graduating from an approved two-Year vocational program in early childhood education. Demonstrated ability with diverse young children and completion of required first aid and cpr training are also necessary.
