Behavioral Health Technician

Behavioral health technicians provide one-On-One interventions to children or adolescents in home, school, or community settings to prevent the need for more restrictive treatment or educational placements. This involves implementing behavior modification treatment plans, modeling intervention techniques for team members, and documenting behavioral and program data during sessions.

The minimum requirement is a high school diploma or ged and reliable transportation. Preferred qualifications include rbt training, prior experience as a tss/Bht, and completed college coursework in mental health or child development.
