Career Service Advisor I

The career service advisor i is responsible for guiding students and graduates through externship placement, monitoring externship progress, and assisting with job search activities like resume writing and mock interviews. This role also involves actively developing relationships with area employers to secure externship and job placement opportunities.

Candidates must possess exceptional communication and listening skills, be highly motivated, and proficient with basic office equipment and computer applications. A minimum of an associate's degree or equivalent experience is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and previous job development or placement experience is a plus.
