Infant and Toddler Teacher

The teacher plans, implements, and evaluates a developmentally appropriate and inclusive educational curriculum for assigned children within the early head start/Head start program. Essential functions include supporting primary care-Giving, conducting home visits, maintaining required paperwork, and coordinating parent education activities.

Candidates must possess an associate's degree in early childhood education or a related field and maintain a child development associate teacher permit, along with current pediatric cpr/First aid and food handler certificates. Required experience includes teaching in a preschool or infant/Toddler setting for 175 days within the last four years, and the ability to adhere to various state and federal program standards.
