Ozona Head Start Universal Substitute

The universal substitute is responsible for continuing the duties of the teacher assistant or both the teacher and teacher assistant when they are absent, including the supervision of children. This role also involves learning all aspects of a head start classroom, completing assigned paperwork and reports, and potentially covering duties for a cook or custodian.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and are required to obtain a child development associate (Cda) credential if they do not already hold one. Experience working with preschool children is preferred but not mandatory.
