Teaching Assistant- Infant

The teacher assistant supports the lead teacher by assisting in the implementation of classroom curriculum and activities, ensuring a high-Quality experience for children grounded in ymca core values. This role also involves maintaining classroom organization, supervising children consistently, and supporting professional communication with parents.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, with college credits or a degree in education preferred, along with one to two years of related experience working with preschool children in a group setting. Essential requirements include maintaining safety, assisting with curriculum implementation, and obtaining first-Aid, cpr, and aed certification within 30 days of hire.
