Core responsibilities
The learning specialist will collaborate with the existing specialist and the academic support team to evaluate student support strategies, interpret testing, and design official accommodation plans implemented by educators. Responsibilities also include coaching faculty, maintaining communication with stakeholders, and leading professional development for educators, students, and parents.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have at least five years of school-Based experience supporting middle and upper school students, with observable skills in evaluating and aiding students with various learning needs. A strong preference is given to candidates holding an active nj l.d.t.c credential or a master’s level therapeutic licensure, alongside cultural competence and excellent organizational skills.
