Core responsibilities
The bcba is responsible for completing behavioral assessments, developing treatment plans, providing family consultations and training, and supervising behavior technicians with a focus on skill acquisition and reducing maladaptive behaviors. This role also requires completing all necessary documentation, including instructional program development, data analysis, progress reports, and behavior support plan creation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree or phd with bacb-Approved coursework and current bcba certification, with a preference for current laba certification. A minimum of two years of clinical experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities, along with reliable vehicle access and availability for varied hours, is required.
