Relief Therapeutic Counselor

The relief therapeutic counselor will work closely with youth aged 6 to 12 in a therapeutic after-School and summer program, supporting their success as part of a comprehensive treatment team involving families and schools. Responsibilities include developing skills in providing enriching daily activities, creating a safe therapeutic community, managing behaviors, and collaborating on treatment plans.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a valid driver's license for transporting youth. Experience with latency age children or behavior modification is preferred, though training is provided for skills like physical interventions and verbal de-Escalations.
