School Counselor - Upper School

The upper school counselor primarily offers social-Emotional support to students and collaborates with faculty and support teams to develop and implement relevant programming. Key duties include providing short-Term support, making treatment recommendations, serving as a crisis first responder, and enriching the counseling program.

Candidates must possess a master's degree in clinical or school psychology, with maryland state license/Certification preferred, and demonstrated competency in providing mental health services to diverse adolescents. Experience in an independent school setting and strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills are highly valued.
