Elementary School English Coach

The elementary school english coach researches and guides teachers on innovative math instructional practices, facilitates pilots of instructional materials, and measures effectiveness by monitoring student progress and performance data. Essential duties include providing content knowledge, supporting teachers through coaching and strategy introduction, coordinating material pilots, monitoring student progress via interactive lessons, and facilitating k-5 reading intervention initiatives.

Minimum qualifications require a bachelor's degree in education or a related field along with five years of teaching experience and two years of successful coaching/Mentoring experience, or an equivalent combination. Other requirements include pedagogical knowledge of math content, understanding of state standards, ability to embrace change, strong organizational and problem-Solving skills, and proficiency in microsoft office suite.
