Core responsibilities
The primary function is to orient and educate all nursing personnel in the nursing center to ensure safe and effective nursing care according to federal, state, and facility guidelines. This includes developing education programs, supervising new employees during orientation, performing annual competency testing, and providing oversight to the employee health program.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current rn license, and preferably possess a minimum of three years of full-Time clinical experience. Two years of clinical experience in long-Term care nursing with one year as an educator is preferred, along with excellence in clinical nursing skills.
