About the Role

We are seeking Day Program Staff who are compassionate, dependable, and motivated to make a meaningful impact. In this role, you will provide hands-on support, teach essential life skills, and help individuals actively engage in their community. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a team environment, values purpose-driven work, and is passionate about supporting others.

Responsibilities

Implement daily curriculum and structured activity schedules based on individual goals Provide hands-on support and training in: Independent living skills Pre-vocational and vocational development Community participation and integration Self-advocacy and decision-making Health, hygiene, and personal care Money management and public transportation use Prepare lesson plans and deliver engaging, skill-based instruction Document consumer progress (daily, weekly, monthly, and annually) Participate in ISP meetings, behavior plan reviews, staff meetings, and trainings Maintain professional relationships with consumers, families, and team members Support community-based activities, including volunteer and work opportunities Ensure consumer rights are respected and protected at all times Assist leadership in achieving program goals Complete all required trainings and maintain compliance with company standards Perform other duties as assigned Compensation $16.90 per hour

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational, interpersonal, and decision-making skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Interest and willingness to support individuals with developmental disabilities Flexible, dependable, and adaptable

Requirements

Valid California driver’s license Reliable transportation with current auto insurance and registration Ability to work with individuals who may display challenging behaviors Negative TB test (within required timeframe) Ability to pass a background check.
