The teacher will assess the developmental and educational needs of preschoolers with special needs and design individualized, evidence-based instruction. They will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create inclusive classroom environments and maintain required documentation.
Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Special Education and NYS Certification for Students with Disabilities, Birth–Grade 2. Proficiency in writing and computer skills, along with reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver’s license, are also required.
A Child's Place at Unity House of Troy is seeking passionate and qualified Master’s Level Special Education Teachers (Birth–Grade 2 certified) to join our welcoming Special Education Department.
We are looking for a special education teacher to join our co-teaching model in an integrated setting. Our program strives to provide diverse, curriculum driven opportunities for identified children to learn along side their peers.

Salaried Monday – Friday 35hrs/week
