Fitness Yoga Instructor

The yoga instructor leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational yoga classes while building authentic relationships with members. They must observe and adjust instruction to support all participants' capabilities, health, and cultural needs.

Required certifications include cpr, first aid, aed, and a national certification in group fitness instruction or the ymca foundations of group exercise certification, with ymca healthy lifestyles certification required within 60 days of hire. At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes is preferred, along with the ability to communicate verbally and attract/Retain participants.
