Qualifications to Be an Early Head Start Lead Teacher: To excel in this role, you’ll need: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent credential, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential for Infant/Toddler Caregivers, or equivalent credential *must have infant toddler child growth and development coursework or equivalent coursework according to NH State Childcare Licensing Experience: Previous experience working in an early childhood classroom with supervisory duties preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with infants, toddlers, and their families and ability to relate comfortably to income-eligible families.
Attention to detail, confidentiality, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace and early childhood classroom experience.
