Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering quality educational experiences focused on the cognitive, social, and emotional development of preschool children. Engage in responsive and respectful interactions with children and their families to foster a supportive learning environment.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or relevant coursework. Candidates must have previous early childhood classroom experience and valid CPR/First Aid certification.
Qualifications to Be an Assistant Teacher: To excel in this role, you’ll need: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent credential, Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, or equivalent; must have Child Growth and Development coursework or equivalent coursework according to NH State Childcare Licensing requirements Experience: Previous experience working in an early childhood classroom Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate with young children and their families and ability to relate comfortably to income-eligible families.
