Medical Assistent Appentice

The medical assistant apprentice is a key member of the patient care team, ensuring patients receive timely, courteous, and professional primary care services by addressing clinical measures and health needs. Responsibilities include tracking clinical outcomes, completing provider referrals, administering immunizations, assisting with charting, and ensuring comprehensive patient care coordination.

This is a 12-Month registered apprenticeship program approved by washington state to prepare students for the certified clinical medical assistant (Ccma) test, equivalent to an ma-C program. Apprentices must complete 2000 hours of paid on-The-Job training and 364 hours of unpaid supplemental coursework, including technical skills and patient-Centered medical home model training.
