Responsibilities include tracking clinical outcomes, completing provider referrals, administering immunizations, assisting with charting, and ensuring comprehensive patient care coordination.
Requirements summary
This is a 12-Month registered apprenticeship program approved by washington state to prepare students for the certified clinical medical assistant (Ccma) test, equivalent to an ma-C program. Apprentices must complete 2000 hours of paid on-The-Job training and 364 hours of unpaid supplemental coursework, including technical skills and patient-Centered medical home model training.
