Core responsibilities
The ma apprentice is a key member of the patient care team, responsible for ensuring all patient clinical measures are addressed through ehr reviews and collaboration with care coordinators, while also coordinating and processing all patient referrals for internal and external services. Responsibilities include obtaining subjective patient information, vital signs, administering immunizations under orders, assisting providers with charting and minor procedures, and maintaining documentation according to protocol.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school education or equivalent, and be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking english, with spanish or russian being preferred. Applicants must also be able to commit to a 12-Month apprenticeship program involving 2000 paid on-The-Job hours and 364 unpaid supplemental coursework hours, along with providing proof of current first aid, cpr, and hiv/Aids training.
