Early Head Start Floater

The primary duties involve protecting the physical and mental health and safety of children while assisting in providing an organized learning environment that promotes healthy development and skill growth aligned with the head start early learning outcomes framework. This includes supporting the implementation of prescribed curricula, conducting screenings and evaluations, and fostering parent engagement opportunities.

Required education is a high school diploma or ged, along with obtaining the child development associate (Cda) credential within six months of employment, with potential requirements for a second cda if working in mixed classrooms. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to respond sensitively to cultural characteristics, maintain emotional control, and possess organizational skills for a fast-Paced environment.
