Early Head Start Teacher

The teacher must plan and implement developmentally and linguistically appropriate curriculum for infants and toddlers, ensuring all activities strengthen intellectual and physical competencies and support school readiness. Key duties also involve collaborating with staff and parents to meet individual child goals, maintaining strict confidentiality, and documenting development and special needs service coordination.

Candidates must possess a high school degree or ged along with a child development associate (Cda) certification, and maintain current first aid and cpr certifications. Preferred qualifications include two years of related experience in an early head start setting, and knowledge of various regulations like head start performance standards and dfps licensing.
