Core responsibilities
The role involves providing clinical psychosocial services and case management to oncology patients and families, including initial and ongoing psychosocial assessments and developing treatment plans/Interventions. Responsibilities also include providing direct counseling for emotional adjustment, grief, and crisis intervention, as well as coordinating with medical staff and advocating for patient needs.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a master's degree in social work and either an lmsw license or an lcsw license with 0-2 years (Lcsw i) or 3+ years (Lcsw ii) of relevant experience in administration, nonprofit, or healthcare, along with supervisory experience. All levels require excellent communication, decision-Making, independent thinking, multitasking abilities, and proficiency in microsoft office suite.
