Counselor I

The counselor i provides assessment, individual counseling, group facilitation, and crisis intervention as part of a multi-Disciplinary team across various programs including alcohol/Drug, hiv, detox, inpatient, and youth services. Duties involve comprehensive charting, treatment planning, attending supervision, and adhering to professional ethics and agency policies.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged and be registered with an approved state-Level certification entity (Cadtp, caade, or ccapp). A minimum of one year in a behavioral healthcare setting is required, along with specific training or agreement to complete instruction in addictions studies and asam a and b within set timeframes.
