Project Residential Assistant

Project residential assistants foster an environment conducive to student development by assisting with resident services, facilitating team activities, and affirming higher education goals for high school participants in the upward bound program. They are also responsible for providing day or overnight supervision, enforcing program policies and discipline standards, and serving as positive role models.

Applicants must be college students at the junior level or higher in good academic standing, possessing strong interpersonal communication skills to build productive relationships with staff and students. Required qualifications include passing a background check, live scan fingerprinting, tuberculosis screening, and drug screening, along with holding valid first aid, cpr, and mandated reporter certifications.
