Middle School Special Education Self-Contained Teacher

The teacher is responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment, providing instruction, support, and guidance while managing the learning process and focusing on students’ individual needs. Essential functions include ensuring all special education and related services are provided per the iep team, developing compliant ieps, facilitating meetings, and making necessary modifications to lessons and assessments.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree and an active alabama 6-12 special education teaching certificate, along with the ability to clear a required background check. Candidates must also be able to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional, distraction-Free home office.
