Adjunct Teaching - School of Music - Music 660R: Graduate Choral Conducting

The primary duty is to teach music 660r graduate choral conducting to 1 to 5 students during the fall 2026 semester, involving weekly one-On-One applied private lessons for students in the choral conducting program. Responsibilities also include demonstrating excellent organizational skills, responding promptly to communications, and serving as an excellent role model committed to the university's mission.

Applicants must possess a master's degree in music, which must be completed by the start date of september 1, 2026, with a doctoral degree preferred. Required experience includes prior teaching of applied conducting lessons to undergraduate and/Or graduate students, along with a solid understanding of gestural technique as taught in "masterful choral conducting" (Stahlei/Hall).
