Core responsibilities
Core nursing faculty are responsible for developing, implementing, teaching, and evaluating the nursing education program's philosophy and objectives, including leading simulation experiences and teaching didactic courses. They also oversee clinical instruction, mentor faculty and students, advise students, and participate in curriculum design and program evaluation.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a graduate degree, or if the graduate degree is not in nursing, a bachelor's degree in nursing plus a graduate degree in a related discipline is required. A minimum of three years of work experience as a professional registered nurse providing direct patient care and an unencumbered state professional registered nurse license are mandatory.
