Paraprofessional (Teacher's Assistant) AMS Avondale (25-26 School Year)

The paraprofessional will support lead teachers by assisting with instruction, classroom management, and providing one-On-One or small group reinforcement to students based on individualized learning plans. Key duties include maintaining an orderly classroom environment, substituting when necessary, preparing materials, and collaborating with staff to meet student needs.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with successful completion of the paraprofessional exam, or an associate’s degree or higher. Previous experience working with children in an educational or youth setting is required, and bilingual proficiency in english and spanish is preferred.
