Child Behavior Specialist

The specialist supports and implements individualized plans focusing on decreasing unsafe behaviors while increasing communication and social skills, receiving guidance from a board certified behavior analyst. Responsibilities also include observing client skills and collecting data to assess skills and develop program goals.

A minimum requirement is a high school diploma and previous experience working with children, along with possessing or obtaining a registered behavior technician credential within six months of hire. A bachelor's degree in behavioral science and specific experience with autism or developmental disabilities are preferred.
