Residential Specialist - Group Home - Weekend (PT or PRN)

The residential specialist serves as a positive role model for children and adolescents in a therapeutic placement who require a structured environment due to behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs. This role involves contributing to the formulation and implementation of resident treatment plans by developing socially effective values, attitudes, and behaviors within residents through role modeling.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or g.e.d. With a minimum of six months of experience working with children, or an associate's degree with at least three months of experience, or a bachelor's degree in a virginia department of health profession's approved human service degree. The position requires working weekend evenings (Saturday and sunday 3pm - 12am) or weekend days.
