High School Special Education Teacher

The teacher is responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment, providing instruction, support, and guidance focused on students’ individualized education programs (Ieps). Essential functions include developing compliant ieps, leading special education meetings, ensuring accommodations are provided, and actively monitoring student progress through data collection.

Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree, an active state special education teaching license, and six months of student teaching experience, along with the ability to clear required background checks. Desired qualifications include experience working with the proposed age group, experience teaching online, and proficiency in microsoft office suite.
