Behavior Technician

The role involves providing direct instructional support to students with special needs in areas like social-Emotional, adaptive behavior, and social-Skill development. Responsibilities also include collecting progress data and implementing approved techniques for de-Escalation and safe physical restraint when necessary.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred, and ideally 1-2 years of experience working with children in special needs education, though training is provided. Applicants must be able to maintain a professional perspective, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate the physical ability to perform crisis management interventions, including therapeutic holds.
