Core responsibilities
The teacher will evaluate student abilities through assessments to design individualized teaching plans and develop/Write individualized education plans, leading required meetings and tracking student progress using technology. Responsibilities also include selecting and adapting learning materials, informing parents of student performance, completing compliance paperwork, and coaching support staff.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, authorized to work in the us, and possess a bachelor's degree in special education or a related field, along with a current missouri teaching certificate in special education. Required experience includes working with children with autism and developmental disabilities, and applicants must pass a physical fitness assessment and obtain level 1 medication aid certification within six months.
