Child Care Assistant-Full time

The assistant will support the teacher in caring for children aged 6 weeks to 9 years, implementing programs designed around their developmental needs. Responsibilities include ensuring the physical safety of children, recognizing and meeting their physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs, and assisting with planned activities.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though one to two years of previous work experience with children or early childhood education schooling is highly desirable. Candidates must meet mandatory continuing education requirements, including child abuse mandatory reporter training within six months of hire.
