Child Life Specialist Adaptive Care

The child life specialist interacts with pediatric patients and families to facilitate age-Appropriate activities and reduce distress during healthcare experiences. They also supervise volunteers and assist in community outreach.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and complete a 600-Hour internship supervised by a child life specialist. Child life certification is required within 15 months of hire, along with experience in pediatric settings.
