The pharmacy student intern assists pharmacists with order evaluation, prescription input, and technical functions related to drug procurement, preparation, and distribution under supervision. This advanced intern level is expected to mentor others and perform basic clinical pharmacy services like dose checking and formulary substitutions.

Candidates must possess a current state pharmacy intern license and be enrolled in an accredited college of pharmacy, with proficiency expected in technical functions and medication pharmacology. Preferred qualification includes previous hospital pharmacy experience.
